South to Middlewich
We left our moorings, firstly getting thro 2 tunnels, not my favourite part of our travels!! Now looking forward to a coffee and stopover at Anderton visitor centre. Coffee shop was closed, CRT doing maintenance on the Anderton lift, so we didn't get to see much!!
Motored onto Lion salt works museum. It was interesting, - it wasn't squeaky clean and tidy, you could imagine how it did operate!!
A journey south to Middlewich - we were pleased to notice the slipway where Chatsworth was launched in May 2008.
Went thro Middlewich big lock, and moored adjacent to the playground.
We wandered into town (a grand term!!!) to stock up for the last time on this trip.
Had an excellent meal in the local pub - which was really busy!!
