A days holiday!!

A quieter day today - no 'boating'. Instead we went to the shops, lovely to have a mooch around Liverpool, everywhere within the sounds of 'Eurovision' - no Beatles songs anywhere today!!

A bitterly cold day - apparently the coldest Spring since 1986!!

After lunch in John Lewis we went to the Maritme museum - one of Roger's favourites (it's free!!). There was an excellent Titanic exhibition. There is certainly a Eurovision buzz around Liverpool - groups of students and youngsters practicing songs and routines. We had a wander around the Arena area where generators and broadcasting vans were heavily protected by security staff.
